Cinco Ranch came out on top, winning a close 3-2 contest Friday night at home. Adrian Mendoza scored his thrid goal fof district play and Matt Paquette added his first with five minutes left to bring the Tigers back. With 23 seconds remaining, Roberto Montelongo was dragged down in the box, but instead of a penalty, was given a yellow for feinting in the box. Katy will have an off day Tuesday night, but will return to action Friday night at Morton Ranch 7:30 p.m., following the girls varsity.
