Jose Ruiz scored his 7th goal of district play and Diego Martinez added his second of the season to lead Katy in a 3-2 victory over Mayde Creek. Katy quickly jumped in front 3-0 in the first 20 minutes, hit the post three times in the second half, and held off a late Mayde Creek rally behind two goals from Yuri Flores. Ruiz and Flores lead the district in goals scored with 7 and 5 respectively. Katy (4-0)visits Cinco ranch (4-0) Friday night in a match that features the districts two first place teams.
