Jose Ruiz scored his district leading 5th goal and Adrian Mendoza finished a late penalty kick to give the Tigers a 2-0 victory over host Katy Taylor. The Tigers were denied numerous chances before Ruiz found the back of the net after an Alexis Barbosa pass threaded two defenders. Katy pressured the rest of the game before Roberto Montelongo was taken down in the box with seven minutes to play. Katy looks to continue their 4 game win streak Tuesday night when they host the visiting Mayde Creek Rams at 7:30.
