Matt Paquette scored the go ahead goal in the first half and Jose Ruiz added his 4th goal of the year to give Katy a 2-0 victory over Jersey Village. Martin Acevedo had 6 second half saves, along with the strong play of Junior Mikey Rodriguez to post the Tigers first shutout of the year. Katy will visit Alief Taylor Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
Katy 0, Klein Oak 1
The Tigers outshot Klein Oak 23-3, but could not find the net in a 1-0 loss to 2nd area ranked Klein Oak, Friday evening at Klein Stadium. With the temperature in the 20's for most of the game, Katy continually put pressure on Oak's defense who were able to fend off Katy's attack. The Tigers hit the post three times in the final 15 minutes. Katy looks to rebound Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. versus Jersey Village.
Katy 5, Klein Collins 3
Jose Ruiz scored three goals and Adrian Mendoza added two more plus an assist to put the Tigers up 5-0 midway through the second half before holding on to a 5-3 win over Klein Collins at Klein High School Thursday evening. The defense, led by Jourdin Swinford and Chris Brelsford, held Collins scoreless for 65 minutes. The Tigers will play their second game of the Klein Showcase Friday night versus state ranked Klein Oak at 6pm (Klein High School).

BOYS SOCCER TRYOUTS
Tryouts for Boys Soccer will be held Nov. 30th - Dec. 2 on the front practice fields at KHS. All participants must have a physical on file with Head Trainer Justin Landers. Players will be requried to bring their own NOSCAE approved shinguards and cleats.
Open Field Wednesdays
Each Wednesday through November there will be open field held on the front practice field in front of Katy High School. Open field will be held from 3:15-4:30 and all players must have a physical on file with Doc Landers. All players are required to wear proper equipment including NOSCAE approved shinguards.

Katy (7-2) beat Beaumont Westbrook 3-2 Friday night at Tiger Stadium. Galena Park Stadium: Katy (6-2) rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Northshore (4-4-1) Tuesday night. The mustangs opened up the scoring early on with two goals.
